It's back online!
First thing first, I flunked 2002. Yeah, I didn't do much riding during 2002. I won't go into details about what the hell I've done in 2002. I mean I didn't really do anything except bummed around in China. What's important is that I'm back my 2003 bike training plan. This year is a little different than the previous year. My film editing class is costing me a lot of precious riding time. This situation won't improve before May 17th, the day the class ends. I've been squeezing some mileage into weekends. Just hanging in there. There's definitely some good news. I'm getting a new bike soon. It's gonna be a LOOK carbon frame. It's about time for me to build a climbing specific bike. Anyway, I'm dead tired today from my Sat class. Gotta go to bed now. Don't know if the weather will turn good for the 2003 Primavera.

The Color of Spring
Spring has arrived. It arrived with a rich color palatte. Mostly green and blue, some yellow and pink. Wonderful! Last Saturday's ride was very memorable. On the way to the Pacific coast, the fields were so green. It's not always so. The reason why we call California, the Golder State is probably because the grass is always yellow. The only time the grass is not yellow is Spring. The time is now. So get out and ride some, enjoy it while you can.

New Year, New Training Plan
For the last couple of months, I've been doing short rides. Most of those rides are about 50 miles. The weather has been nice, just chilly sometimes. I don't have shoe covers/toe warmers so my feet get numb when I'm descending. I did a 50 mile loop today. I doubled up on socks so my feet felt cozy. Met a few local club riders on the way to OLH. I've seen those riders in red/blue all the time. Just don't know the name of the club. Anyway, they were too fast for me on OLH. I kept up with them 2/3 of the time on the OLH. They just pulled away eventually. I have signed up for Tierra Bella 200K. So I need to ride some centuries before that to get in shape...
